Rules of Road

This USCG Rules of the Road class will teach students the International Regulations for Preventing Collisions at Sea (COLREGs) and U.S. Inland Rules for safe navigation, essential for professional mariners seeking licenses or endorsements, covering steering, sailing, lights, and sound signals.

• This course will satisfy Rules of the Road examination requirements for original or renewal of any deck credential up to Master 200 GRT, Master or Mate of Fishing Vessels, or Apprentice Mate of Towing Vessels
• This course will satisfy USCG ETQC requirement for the Q100 test needed for USCG military personnel working toward, or renewing a Deck Watch Officer rules examination.
• This course will also satisfy the International and Inland examination requirement to remove a geographic COLREGS limitation from a deck officer endorsement up to Master 200 GRT.
