Course Details
Master the use of marine radar with this USCG-approved Radar Observer (Unlimited) course, taken in lieu of the Coast Guard exam. Training includes radar fundamentals, plotting, collision avoidance, target tracking, relative motion concepts, and practical radar navigation exercises. Students practice real-world scenarios to build confidence using radar as a primary navigational and collision-avoidance tool. Successful completion meets Coast Guard requirements for the Radar Observer endorsement.
